The concept for SCUFFLESS™ was borne when I, (Shirley Y. Mason), discovered shoe heel pads to protect the heel area while driving. I eventually needed to purchase new heel pads to attach to my car floor mat after each heel pad became worn, to continue to protect my shoes from heel marks.

The difficulty in finding a heel pad became frustrating. I searched aggressively in shoe repair stores, auto accessory stores, and retail stores to locate replacements for the worn heel pads --- but to no avail. Finally, I found a small shoe repair shop that had two heel pads left to sell. After purchasing both, I contacted the manufacturer to determine where other heel pads were sold in the area. The reply was disheartening because production of the heel pads had been ceased, based on the lack of marketing and no demand.

My entrepreneurial spirit embraced me and I came up with a new concept to design a consumer friendly adaptation of the original heel pad. The concept evolved into an automotive accessory as a car floor mat. The mat serves a dual purpose: to protect the heel area of the shoe from being damaged, as well as, a car floor mat.

Like most women who love shoes. (I have 200+) the investment can be substantial. Even if you have only 10 pairs at an average costs of $50 that is a $500 investment. Most women have more that 10 pairs of shoes so the investment is even higher.

Therefore the SCUFFLESS™ floor mat was created to protect your investment and your beautiful shoes from scuffs.
